Since I've been making Wedding Card Houses, I got a request to make one
for a Up Themed wedding. It was a few months ago and since the
Bride didn't want it in a hurry, I took my time making it, working on it
between other orders. Really I was dragging my heels because I was not
looking forward to figuring out how to put the two roofs together. I
make my own patterns and I'm totally self taught in my woodworking. I
have acquired all of my workshop tools over the years and enjoy
learning to use them. I'm sure I still have a lot to learn. Here are a
few pictures of the progress. First I did a few sketches.
Then I made the two sides...
And made porch posts...
Some of my pictures are a bit blurry and I'm having a hard time getting my pictures lined up tonight, and don't seem to be able to add text below. I think I have a lot to learn about blogger too! Tomorrow is another day!

And I did get the roof! |
Both roofs are hinged! This was a fun project! : )
This one is on it's way to California, but I relisted it in my etsy shop
here!
